Originally from Iowa, I hang my hat in sunny San Diego now. I travel both nationally and internationally, driven by a strong desire to make a difference through photography.
I received my BA in Photography from the Art Institute of Colorado. After graduation, I was offered a job as staff photographer and reporter for a newspaper; or, move to San Diego to work for Brett Butterstein, one of the top ten wedding photographers in the world according to American Photo. I chose to travel the world and learn the ropes from Butterstein - a decision I don't regret.
Now, running my own business, I shoot weddings, events, portraits, and adventures. I invest in making my clients happy. My wish is that my images speak to that, but view my testimonial page to hear it from the horses' mouths.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. I hope our paths cross soon to create images you will cherish.
"Mallory took the most beautiful and authentic pictures for my wedding day. I knew she was a great photographer but she really blew me away once I saw them! It just comes natural to her. It's been almost two years since my wedding and I still receive compliments on her extraordinary pictures. Working with her was effortless and a very enjoyable experience. I am now pregnant and very excited to hire her again for some pregnancy shots!"

"Mallory went above and beyond and was with us every step of the way. Her work speaks for itself, magical moments transpire when she's behind the lens and light. Candids, staged, or on the fly...the woman is prepared and poised to catch every shot. We loved her and her 2nd assistant photographer she brought. She worked into the wee hours of the morning to catch me climb a tree in my wedding dress at the après park party. She was the only photographer we wanted and worked with us to make it happen. Thank you for capturing the moments Mallory."
